Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Arusha – Tarangire National Park
Early morning departure from Arusha and drive to Tarangire Park for game viewing and photography; Tarangire is home to large head of Elephant, flamingo, pelican, stork, and other different bird species and is therefore regarded as the birding paradise of Tanzania. Other animals easily spotted include oryx, which can be observed at close range during our game drive. Giraffe, gazelle, warthog, and others can be seen browsing inside the park. If lucky, you might see the rare tree-climbing lion which also resides within this park.
Day 2: Tarangire – Serengeti National Park
Early breakfast followed by departure to the Great Serengeti arriving for lunch; lunch is followed by game viewing. Serengeti is home to Africa’s big five (elephant, rhino, lion, leopard & buffalo) and is also home to millions of other animals which include browsers, predators, reptiles, and birds. The annual wildebeest migration commences in June when over 1 million wildebeest, zebra, and gazelle head into the Masai Mara plains in search of better pasture. These animals are followed closely by the predators of the savannah (lion, cheetah, wild dog, jackal, hyena, vultures, and others). Evening transfer back to accommodation for rest and dinner
Day 3: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater
Early breakfast followed by morning game drives within Serengeti to see the park one last time. Afterward, return to camp for hot lunch then check out and be driven to Ngorongoro Crater arriving in the evening for check-in and dinner at camp. Ngorongoro is rich and fertile with stunning views of the crater and lakes.
Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater Tour – Arusha
Breakfast followed by check out from camp with packed picnic lunch to eat during your 6 hours game viewing within crater floor. Descend to the crater to see the breathtaking huge caldera which is home to Tanzania’s only remaining black rhino population. Other animals which are easy to spot include hippo, elephant, gazelle antelope, flamingo, and other water birds. In the afternoon you will ascend back to the crater rim for transfer to Arusha to connect with your next onward flight to your next destination.
